Episode Overview

Jessica reconnects with her longtime friend Eugene McClendon, who finds himself implicated in the murder of their mutual acquaintance, Jonathan Keeler. As Jessica works to prove Eugene's innocence, she discovers that he is convinced he is terminally ill. To her shock, he proposes marriage, hoping she will manage his affairs after his death. Jessica consents, but her true motive is to uncover the real murderer behind Jonathan’s death.
