Drew Carey's Green Screen Show (2004)
Overview
Drew Carey's Green Screen Show debuted in 2004 on The WB and later aired on Comedy Central. Hosted by Drew Carey, it served as a spiritual successor to Whose Line Is It Anyway? The show’s unique twist involved performing improv games in front of a green screen, allowing for creative animations, music, and sound effects added later. While retaining the same vibe and many of the same performers as its predecessor, it showcased fresh comedic scenarios. Carey's inspiration stemmed from a Whose Line? game, envisioning the unseen manipulators as a source of humor. The theme song, "La Trampa," features Tonino Carotone and Manu Chao.
