After Yi-chan is struck by a car and becomes deaf, Master urges Eun-gyeol to return to his own time, but he stubbornly insists on staying to find the person responsible for the accident. Se-gyeong persuades Eun-gyeol to go back to 2023, and when he eventually arrives, he discovers that everything has changed drastically.
