Episode Overview

After separating from his wife, Schanke moves in with Nick, hoping for a carefree bachelor lifestyle. However, tensions arise as they clash over the investigation into the murder of a wealthy businessman. Frustrated by Nick's tendency to outshine him, Schanke decides to tackle the case independently. While numbing his pain with alcohol, he experiences a breakthrough and rushes off to catch the murderer without Nick’s help. In a surprising turn of events, he thinks he has apprehended the killer all on his own, but things may not be as straightforward as they seem.
