After a serial rapist is brutally killed by a dog, Natalie begins to question the circumstances surrounding the attack. As Nick delves deeper, he suspects that a carouche, a lesser vampire known for preying on small creatures, might be influencing the dog’s actions. Upon locating the animal, Nick realizes it is the loyal pet of a blind dispatcher. Now, he must devise a plan to safeguard the dispatcher and the rest of the community from the lethal instincts of this seemingly ordinary canine.
