As the series kicks off again, Ben is feeling anxious about his future because of his criminal history. Although his father offers support, Ben is yearning for something greater in life. Meanwhile, development workers are in the forest, preparing to alter the Grove's boundaries for a new housing project. Regina, alerted by Stumpy, Jamie, and Robert, is resolute in her efforts to halt the changes. In a surprising twist, Bradley introduces everyone in the Grove to his girlfriend, Sadie, leaving them all stunned.
