Bates forms a connection with an art instructor, while Coffey, Renko, LaRue, and Washington engage in a wager to see who can reach work the quickest. Renko faces the difficult task of arresting his beloved singer for drug possession. Meanwhile, Goldblume finds himself taken captive by a disturbed militant, who bombards the surrounding residents with an overwhelming onslaught of noise.
