While looking for his raincoat, Archie inadvertently finds himself at a murder scene. Eager to avoid any complications, he tries to leave, only to notice a black Labrador retriever trailing behind him. To Archie's surprise, Wolfe takes a liking to the dog and names him Jet. When Cramer arrives, searching for the lost pet, Wolfe convinces Archie to assist with the investigation so they can keep Jet with them.
