Jack discovers that his revolutionary fuel formula has vanished from his office, leading him to believe it may have been taken by a rival spy. In his quest to resolve the issue, he enlists Ernest's assistance. Meanwhile, Susan approaches the Magus for support as she tries to placate their affluent, traditionalist neighbors. Virgil finds out that Patty has also become a member of the Agape, which puts pressure on Ernest. Virgil forces him into a corner, compelling the conflicted zealot to decide between staying true to his convictions or risking imprisonment.
