Following criticism from her swimming coach, Niki reassures Toby that it's just a confidence issue. In response, Toby crafts a special confidence ring for her. However, when Russ tries it on, he becomes so attached that he refuses to remove it, only to misplace it later. Meanwhile, Verity is eager to establish a cheer squad to support their swim team in the upcoming championships, but her ideas are overlooked until she discovers the lost ring, which might just change everything.
