After losing a video game to Mihari, Mahiro faces the dreaded task of grocery shopping as his punishment. As a reclusive, unemployed young man, he finds the idea overwhelming. When he arrives at the supermarket, the bustling crowd makes him hesitate, leaving him anxious at the entrance. Just then, a friendly boy in a baseball cap appears and offers his assistance. With the boy's support, Mahiro successfully completes his shopping and is on his way home when, unexpectedly, Kaede appears out of nowhere, adding to the day's surprises.
