Episode Overview

Title: Virginia Tech Tragedy/Minneapolis Bus Disaster Plot: This episode recounts the terrifying experiences of two students and a professor who survived the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech on April 16, 2007. Student Colin found himself forced to remain still and feign death as he was shot four times by the assailant. We also highlight the incredible rescue following the August 2007 collapse of a Minneapolis bridge that sent a school bus carrying 52 children plummeting 45 feet. Bus driver Kim bravely held the brake to prevent the vehicle from rolling backward, while counselor Jimmy and his team hurried to evacuate the children, including Kim's daughter.
