Meanwhile, Debbie endures a harrowing five-day nightmare at the hands of her captor, who keeps her blindfolded and gagged, assaults her, and forces her to share a bed with him. Additionally, Jim faces a brutal attack in his own apartment; after showing kindness by inviting his neighbor in for a conversation, he is violently assaulted by the young man.
