In the wake of a tragic incident that leaves their mother and grandmother murdered and their father severely hurt in their Oakley, Utah home, two young sisters are kidnapped by two men and driven over a cliff. Meanwhile, a group of friends faces a deadly avalanche while snowmobiling in Montana. In a separate incident, a woman in Concord, New Hampshire finds herself held captive at her law office by a man who has been stalking her for years.
