Overview
In December 1988, the body of Scott Johnson, a gay American mathematician, was discovered at the base of a cliff in Sydney, Australia, with authorities labeling it a suicide. However, his brother, Steve Johnson, refused to accept this conclusion. Over the next 35 years, Steve dedicated himself to uncovering the truth behind Scott's tragic end. His quest revealed a disturbing history of anti-gay violence that had been overlooked for years, illuminating the societal issues that surrounded his brother's death and the broader implications for the LGBTQ+ community.
