Phil and Claire get into a massive argument, leaving Phil completely baffled about the cause. To help him sort things out, Gloria takes on the role of his advisor, while Jay provides support to Claire. At the same time, Jay starts to feel remorse over his decision to buy Gloria a karaoke machine. Meanwhile, Cameron is busy gearing up for a major fundraising event and enlists Mitchell and Luke to lend a hand with the preparations.
