While Claire and Haley are home sick, they take the opportunity to bond and enjoy some girl time. Meanwhile, Phil is driven to distraction by the incessant beeping of a smoke detector. At Jay's workplace, an unexpected visit from Gloria and Manny causes him considerable stress. Additionally, Cameron can’t resist the allure of the spotlight and, against Mitchell’s wishes, takes Lily along for a commercial shoot, getting caught up in all the glitz and glamour.
