Jay is determined to make a good impression on the new family moving in across the street, going out of his way to show them he’s the ideal neighbor. Meanwhile, Manny believes that the key to winning over a cool, free-spirited teenage girl lies in his actions. At the same time, the Pritchett household is taking full advantage of Alex's recent struggle with mono. Lastly, Cam and Mitchell have always prided themselves on being open-minded and supportive parents. However, when they catch Lily making fun of her new friend, they realize it’s time for some self-reflection before addressing her behavior.
