Phil and Claire are eager to dive into Halloween festivities, but they find that their excitement isn't shared by others, leading them to question if their enthusiasm is misplaced. At the Pritchett household, Mitch and Cam grow increasingly exasperated with Jay's slow progress on their kitchen renovation, prompting Mitch to confront his father. Meanwhile, Gloria’s patience is tested when Cam crosses the line as a guest in their home.
