Episode Overview

George and Angie seek a loan for Carmen's education but are taken aback to discover their poor credit score at the bank. George insists there's been a mistake, only to uncover that it’s a different George Lopez, who operates a skateboard shop. When he meets this doppelgänger, he’s stunned to learn they share the same birthday, social security number, and father—this man is actually George's half-brother. He reveals he comes from a low-income background, dropped out of school, and has no money. Just then, the bank contacts George about an overdue student loan from Arizona State University. Confronting his half-brother, George discovers that their father was wealthy, and it becomes clear he’s just after money. Ultimately, George tells him to leave. In the final moments, Angie answers a call, claiming it's their father, who got their number from the other George. George stands up, picks up the phone, and promptly hangs up.
