Episode Overview

An Immortal ally of MacLeod is murdered at his secluded mountain hideaway, hoping for a break from the ongoing battles, much like MacLeod himself. A brain-injured, homeless veteran is accused of the brutal act, and authorities seek to connect him to the death of Slan Quince, an Evil Immortal MacLeod had previously defeated. Determined to exonerate the innocent man, MacLeod digs into the truth behind his friend's death. Throughout the investigation, flashbacks reveal more of MacLeod's history, particularly during the American Civil War.
