Episode Overview

Richie is determined to safeguard Laura Daniels, a young woman fleeing from an Immortal bounty hunter named Mako. Having encountered Mako previously, MacLeod disapproves of his tactics but acknowledges that Mako operates within the law. He begins to question Laura's innocence, but Richie remains resolute in his desire to assist her, regardless of the circumstances. MacLeod finds himself conflicted between supporting his friend and doing the right thing. After Richie triumphs over Mako and experiences his first Quickening, both he and MacLeod come to the realization that it's time for Richie to forge his own path.
