Episode Overview
Xavier St. Cloud makes a return, using a group of mortal mercenaries to hunt down Immortals with ease. His sights are set on MacLeod, but thanks to a warning from Dawson, Mac and Charlie narrowly evade death, although the dojo suffers significant damage in the ensuing gunfight. Meanwhile, CID agent Renee Delaney starts investigating the mercenaries. Determined, MacLeod sets out to confront Xavier, and Charlie insists on joining him. During their clash, MacLeod notices James Horton, the Hunter responsible for Darius's death. This distraction leads to Mac being 'killed' and plummeting down an elevator shaft, while Charlie is severely injured and near death. Furious at Dawson for allowing Horton to escape, MacLeod warns him to stay out of his way.
