Episode Overview

Pete Wilder intervenes just in time to rescue Richie from a group of thugs sporting Watcher tattoos. However, the situation isn't as clear-cut as it appears, leading MacLeod to grow suspicious of Pete, despite Richie's insistence that he's a good guy. When Mac's distrust results in Pete's tragic death, he begins to question his own judgment. Unbeknownst to MacLeod, his former foe Horton is orchestrating everything behind the scenes, secretly training the escaped murderer Lisa Halle to target Mac while he grapples with his inner turmoil.
