Episode Overview

During their journey through the woods, Kaede and Chifusa rescue a painter named Sakuji Itamune from a group of Manyu guards intent on silencing him due to his controversial artwork. Instantly taken with Kaede, Sakuji requests her to be the subject of his next piece. However, when Chifusa discourages her, Kaede misinterprets her friend's intentions as jealousy, leading her to part ways with Chifusa. Just as they begin the painting session, Sakuji reveals his preference for nude, flat-chested models—explaining the guards' earlier aggression. Shocked, Kaede flees, only to be confronted by the very guards they had evaded.
