The daring Detectives go incognito as stunt performers on the set of a fresh Western film to look into a string of dubious and deadly "accidents" that have plagued various members of a veteran acting troupe called the 'Wolf Pack'. The group's leader, who also stars in the movie, is particularly anxious that he might be the next target.
