Episode Overview

A massive metal extraction facility, traversing the Pacific ocean floor while gathering hazardous waste, suddenly catches fire in one of its compartments, spiraling out of control toward a deep underwater abyss. Thunderbird 2 is mobilized with Thunderbird 4 to rescue the lone crew member, Ned Tedford, and secure the dangerous materials onboard. Meanwhile, Lady Penelope looks into the corporation behind the plant, as John and Gordon grow suspicious that the owner prioritized the cargo over the safety of the crew, drawing unwanted attention from the Hood.
