As Martin turns seven, all he wishes for is a peaceful nap, but his plans are upended when Jenn arrives at Nan's house for a short stay with her adorable new puppy. Meanwhile, Jenn and Nan seek to escape their personal romantic troubles by enjoying a night out, and they find unexpected motivation when they listen to local star Deejay Devine perform.
