Meanwhile, Toby and Josh are in a frantic race to secure votes as Haffley demands Democratic backing for a tax cut in exchange for supporting the peace agreement. It's clear that Jed must set aside his hesitations and appoint a new chief of staff. C.J. collaborates with the State Department to gain U.N. and NATO approval for the peace deal. Charlie hesitates to fulfill minor graduation requirements, conflicted about his promise to resign as Jed’s body man for a better job after graduation.
