She discovers that her memory sharpens when she's angry, prompting Benson and Marcy to accompany her for support. During her next attempt, Benson encourages her to harness that anger, and when Gretchen channels her frustration, she passionately delivers the answers, ultimately achieving her goal and gaining her citizenship.
