Episode Overview

In the episode "Sophia's Wedding (1)," Sophia is confronted with the passing of her dear friend, Esther Weinstock. This leads her to encounter Esther's husband, a man she had sworn never to communicate with again because of their tumultuous history. Despite her reservations, Dorothy encourages them to reconcile, which unexpectedly results in them spending the night together. They later surprise everyone by announcing their engagement, much to Dorothy's disapproval. Meanwhile, Blanche and Rose embark on a new adventure by founding an Elvis Presley fan club, adding a touch of humor to the unfolding drama.
