Title: Awakening (2) Plot: In 1987, NASA's Ranger III, with astronaut William "Buck" Rogers aboard, embarks on a five-month journey through the solar system. Unfortunately, a meteor storm damages its life support, causing the probe to drift into a lengthy elliptical orbit around Earth. Fast forward to 2491, when Ranger III returns and is intercepted by the alien ship Draconia, which has come to Earth under the guise of a peace mission. Buck is revived by Princess Ardala and her lieutenant, Kane, who actually plan to invade. Sent back to Earth with a concealed tracking device, Buck proves his identity to Earth's Defense Directorate and teams up with the mechanoids Dr. Theopolis and Twiki to thwart the Draconian assault.
