Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979)

Episode Overview

The Searcher comes across a golden-skinned boy trapped in an escape capsule within an asteroid belt. After the ship crashes into an asteroid, the boy reveals his ability to manipulate matter by saving Admiral Asimov from a heavy beam. He informs the Searcher crew that he can free the ship with the help of a friend stranded on a nearby planet. However, when Buck and Hawk venture to retrieve this companion, they discover he’s been captured by a man intent on exploiting the boy’s extraordinary powers for his own selfish gain.
