Episode Overview

Patrick Finch, John Mercer’s predecessor, has taken to the streets as a vigilante, aggressively pursuing drug dealers and prostitutes, capturing media attention along the way. John realizes it’s essential to stop Finch's reckless crusade. Meanwhile, Hugh Berry, who manages the cover-up for Lenny’s illegal dealings, approaches Lenny with a chilling request. He wants Lenny to eliminate Trevor Bowyer, the hit-and-run driver responsible for his grandson's disability, who received only a two-year sentence. Lenny understands that if he doesn’t act, Hugh will seek out Finch for the job. When he confronts Finch, he discovers a bitter and dangerous man—everything he dreaded seeing in Finch. As Lenny exits the tower block, he’s infuriated to find Hugh waiting outside, clearly considering hiring Finch for Bowyer’s assassination.
