Max races against time to rescue Alex and Kyle from being entombed in a cave brimming with radiant blue crystals. Meanwhile, Isabel has been taken captive by Grant Sorenson, who is under the control of the alien parasite queen. In a desperate attempt to shield Laurie, Michael is shot, putting him in grave danger as he fights to protect those he cares about.
