Episode Overview

As Aunt Bee's birthday nears, she subtly suggests a lovely pale blue bed jacket that has caught her eye in a shop window. Unfortunately, Andy fails to pick up on her hints and purchases the jacket as a gift for Mayor Stoner's wife, leaving Aunt Bee heartbroken. To make amends and retrieve the desired jacket, Andy must sacrifice his treasured fishing rod, Ol' Eagle-Eyed Annie, in a desperate trade.
