Episode Overview
When Barney makes a careless remark, it lands him in trouble with Thelma Lou. In the meantime, she begins to enjoy Gomer's company. To protect his friend’s feelings, Gomer attempts to convince Thelma Lou to move on by pretending to be in love with her. However, his plan backfires spectacularly, leading to an unexpected engagement between them.
