Episode Overview

Ernest T. Bass comes back to Mayberry, determined to learn enough to win over his girlfriend's heart and secure a marriage proposal. However, upon meeting his new instructor, Helen, he quickly becomes infatuated with her instead. This puts Andy in a tricky position, as he must assist Helen in providing Ernest with the essential knowledge he craves, including the reality of his feelings and the true nature of his affections.
