Episode Overview

After Andy is offered $1,000 for the rights to his story "Sheriff without a Gun," he plans to deposit the money in the bank. However, Opie, Aunt Bee, and Helen urge him to use it for something enjoyable. They brainstorm and decide a trip to Hollywood would be the perfect adventure. Excited by the idea, the whole town pitches in to help send them off on their journey, turning it into a community event full of enthusiasm and support.
