Episode Overview

The manager of a local TV station approaches Aunt Bee, eager to have her host a nightly cooking show after hearing about her culinary skills. While she may not have the polish they typically seek, her authenticity is just what they need. Aunt Bee's primary worry is ensuring that Andy and Opie have a proper meal in her absence. When no one suitable can be found, Andy, along with Opie, pretends that a "Mrs. Parkinson" is handling the cooking. In reality, Andy takes on the task, resulting in some culinary mishaps for both him and Opie. After two days, Aunt Bee quickly uncovers the ruse and finds a clever solution.
