Episode Overview

In Soldotna, located on the Kenai Peninsula, troopers face the dual challenges of tough terrain and urban crime. Trooper Brent Hatch reacts to an ATV accident involving an unruly, intoxicated teenager, leading to the youth being taken into custody at Wildwood Pretrial Facility. Meanwhile, another trooper looks into a collision involving a motorcyclist and a semi truck, while another officer is on the trail of an 11-year-old runaway. Several troopers spend hours scouring the dark forest for a suspect who has previously assaulted an officer, and a wildlife trooper patrols the Kenai River. With Alaska having the highest missing persons rate nationwide, troopers are tasked with search and rescue efforts, including a mission to locate two hunters lost in a perilous wilderness known for frequent bear attacks.
