Rosemary & Thyme (2003)

Episode Overview

Rosemary and Laura are summoned to Lyvedon Manor by the owner, Martin Frazer, to help restore the neglected walled gardens. To provide some inexpensive labor, Martin recruits a group of inmates from a nearby prison to assist them. Initially, Rosemary feels uneasy about working alongside the prisoners, but she gradually becomes accustomed to the situation. However, her world is turned upside down when she sees Martin’s eccentric cousin, Jim, leap into the turbulent river, seemingly taking his own life. Shockingly, Rosemary later encounters Jim at the local market, even though Martin had identified his body after the incident.
