Episode Overview

Rosemary and Laura arrive at Stagford Lodge Prep School to look into the issue of the newly planted roses wilting, while also working on expanding the existing rose garden. During their investigation, Mr. Oakley, the classics teacher, invites them to join him for dinner at the master's table on 'the night of the stag,' when the students play a prank on one of the teachers. However, the evening takes a dark turn as two teachers are assaulted. Undeterred, Rosemary and Laura sense that more trouble lies ahead, and their instincts are confirmed when they uncover the body of Simon Todd, the geography master, buried on the school grounds.
