Episode Overview
Doug is eager to ask Patti to the Hoe-Down dance, but when Connie invites him instead, he fabricates a story about staying home to look after his ailing cousin "Melvin." His deception backfires when Patti and Connie decide to pay a visit to this supposed cousin. Desperate for a way out, Doug enlists Judy’s help, and she pulls it off so well that Melvin ends up getting an invitation to the Hoe-Down too.
