With Mrs. Wingo out, Ms. Newberry steps in as the substitute teacher. Doug, however, makes a poor first impression, leading Ms. Newberry to see him as the class troublemaker while labeling Roger as the good student. Determined to shift her perception, Doug goes to great lengths to prove that he’s not the bad kid she thinks he is.
