Wishbone feels neglected as his owner, Joe, becomes obsessed with a new mountain bike, leading Joe to be less attentive and patient with him. When Wishbone goes missing for a day, Joe quickly understands just how much his dog means to him and realizes that their bond is far more valuable than any bike. Simultaneously, while embodying Silas Marner, Wishbone discovers the importance of human connection and friendship over material wealth.
