To prevent an impending war, Xena sets out to rescue a princess who has been abducted from her homeland. This kidnapping threatens to ignite conflict. As Xena investigates, she discovers that a weapons dealer is behind the turmoil. While pursuing leads on the dealer, she unexpectedly encounters Marcus, her former love, leaving her conflicted about her emotions toward him.
