Missouri sheriff John Lucas arrives to find his wife, Jenny, accusing Billy of murdering her brother six years prior. Charles Cabot reveals Billy's troubled prison history, citing information from the new concierge, Elizabeth, taken from Christine's personnel files. Charles aims to oust Billy in favor of a security chief of his own choosing. Meanwhile, traveling fur coat salesman Freddy Barnes juggles his dual existence as his wife Sonia unexpectedly shows up at a convention where he has brought along his other wife, Barbara. When it's discovered that Elizabeth is Charles Cabot’s daughter, Christine decides not to dismiss her, feeling sympathy for Elizabeth's situation.
