Special Agent Emily Prentiss, the daughter of influential diplomats, joins the team and faces the challenge of proving her worth to Gideon and Hotchner without relying on her family ties. The BAU is soon dispatched to St. Louis to look into a case involving two serial killers who seem to be in a rivalry.
