Episode Overview
Caitlin discovers she has epilepsy and is determined to keep it a secret from her friends. During Susie's sleepover, she suffers a seizure, exposing her condition to everyone. As a result, Caitlin loses the lead role in the school play to Kathleen and decides to withdraw from the production. However, she soon realizes that quitting won’t change her situation and ultimately chooses to return to the play. Meanwhile, the painfully shy Michelle dreads presenting her speech in front of the class. Joey mocks her by calling her a mouse and making squeaking sounds. When Michelle tries to excuse herself by claiming a sore throat, Mr. Raditch sees through the ruse and insists she speak about something familiar. She bravely discusses her shyness, receiving enthusiastic praise. Afterward, Joey asks her to help with his own speech.
